Key Responsibilities: 🔹 Inspect piping erection activities (fit-up, alignment, installation, supports, spools) 🔹 Perform welding inspections in compliance with approved WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications 🔹 Ensure works comply with IFC drawings, piping isometrics, ITPs, and project specifications 🔹 Verify material identification and traceability (MTCs, heat numbers, tagging) 🔹 Witness and inspect welding, fit-up, VT and NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT) 🔹 Review and close RFIs / WIRs related to piping and welding works 🔹 Coordinate and witness pressure testing (hydro / pneumatic) preparation and execution 🔹 Raise and follow up NCRs and verify corrective actions 🔹 Maintain QA/QC inspection records, reports, and construction documentation 🔹 Coordinate with Construction, Welding, Client/PMC, and Third-Party Inspectors Requirements: 🔹 Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline 🔹 CSWIP 3.1 certification 🔹 Minimum 5–7 years experience as QA/QC Welding & Piping Inspector 🔹 Strong experience in piping erection during construction phase 🔹 Experience on Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery projects 🔹 Good knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME Section IX, API / ISO standards 🔹 Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and IFC drawings 🔹 Experience working under international EPC contractors is an advantage
